Seven Richard Kaloust Steps

Top Seven Steps to Success

Seven Richard Kaloust Steps By Keith Wrigley.

1) Change your Thoughts

As a student of personal growth, you may have learned how important your thoughts are to the type of results you are getting in your life. Are you trying everything you can think of to change your life, to make more money, to be a better person, to attract a mate, etc but find that nothing is really working for you? Why can’t you achieve your desires?

Experts agree that you must first try to re-write your mind’s “programming”. You need to eliminate the negative self talk in your head and replace it with more positive thoughts. For example, perhaps one of your “Gremlins” (negative self talk) is the very common “I’m not good enough”. Objectively, you may not think this thought is true, but your subconscious mind believes it.

This example of negative self talk is very powerful and can severely limit your growth. Replace this thought with something like “I deserve all good things coming into my life”. What are your thoughts telling you?

2) Affirm your Direction

To change your thoughts, try using affirmations in a repetitive fashion. For example, say you now make $50,000 per year, but you would like to make $75,000. Try something like “I am very grateful that I now make $75,000 per year.” If your goal is to lose weight, perhaps try something like “I am slim, strong, flexible and sexy!”

This may sound silly to you, but be persistent, post your affirmations on your mirror, and say them several times a day. Stick with these affirmations for days, weeks and months and prepare to be amazed.

3) Set Goals

If you don’t know where you’re going, you might wind up anywhere. Find your core values and figure out what is most important in your life. Then set goals in harmony with your values. Create the life you desire.

Don’t be afraid to think big! Medium goals will get you mediocre results. Once your thoughts and actions become aligned, the universe will provide more than you expected.

4) Get Committed

Achieving success takes passion, drive and commitment. Get in touch with why you want these things you’re striving for. Connect emotionally with what earning your success will mean to you. Use that emotion to fuel the energy to do whatever it takes, one step at a time. Build a burning desire!

5) Be Persistent

The road to success is not a superhighway. There are lots of bumps and obstacles along the way. It’s not always easy; in fact it usually isn’t easy at all. If it were, everyone would be rich.

One of the best things you can do is to expand your “comfort zone”. By this I mean conquering your fears and doing the hard parts, even if it’s scary. In other words, “feel the fear and do it anyway.”

6) Take Responsibility

Once you get clear that you are 100% totally responsible for your life, you’re on your way to better things. Blaming others, like parents, your boss, your spouse, etc will keep you a victim forever.

Realize that it is your choices alone that have made you what you are today. Take your power by saying “I’m responsible for my life” and don’t look back.

7) Practice Gratitude

If you want more good things in your life, try expressing gratitude for what you already have. As you lie down to sleep try telling yourself “I’m so grateful for my life and all the wonderful things I have.” Appreciation for all the good things in your life, which you may take for granted, can open up space for all the new things you desire.
